About this piece, I found your take on TOT as a cultural phenomen extremely insightful, and the idea that it's a different book with each read really resonates. It makes you curious about the underlying structures of such texts and how our understanding recursiveley evolves.
I think every good book (and not just the Good Book) merits multiple readings, and try to follow through with at least a couple of personal favorites. I do find new things all the time.
Well, those were 3 interesting interpretations of TOT, LOL. Thank-you. It truly is a meandering novel and does jump story lines throughout. Loved the different revues and the reflections each brought to you. I can only imagine what a fouth reading and review will bring. Oh boy. :-)
Amazingly both hilarious and insightful. Absolutely worth every line.
Especially this line: "This is like calling your magical elf prince Keith."
I am very happy with this one myself :)
